Radio interview in 'Grensgeluiden'

On May 30 we are being interviewed by Yasna about our freshly opened wall drawing in Electron. It's broadcasted in the cultural program 'Grensgeluiden' on the local radio station, Stadsrtvbreda. It will be repeated on Wednesday (June 2) at 22 h or you can relisten on internet.

The wall is finished!

May 28, 13 h...the wall drawing is ready. Before we forget, we have to sign our work...

And a few hours later: the OFFICIAL OPENING!

There were two speeches. One by Simone of 'Schatten van Brabant' (Treasures of Brabant), that sponsored our drawing. She emphasized the value of our drawing for keeping the history of Brabant alive.

And there was a speech by Pleun Sint Nicolaas, business unit manager at Spie Nederland bv. Spie is the electrotechnical company that was Electron before. He spoke about what Electron was like when their company was here and he recalled some typical anecdotes of the past: it was quite a hierarchical company, but the employees all had a big heart for it. Where our drawing is now was part of the production plant.

Among the guests were quite some (former) employees of Electron/Spie. We were happy about this and we noticed that our drawings brought up a lot of memories to them.

And that's what we did it for!

Opening Friday 28 May 16 h!

Still a few days of non-stop drawing until the opening on Friday, May 28.

It's at Electron, Belcrumweg 19 in Breda. It starts around 16 h with a speech by Pleun Sint-Nicolaas, manager at SPIE bv. SPIE is what was Electron before.
